I decided to visit Bukit Timah Food Centre as I heard the news of its impending closure in the latter half of 2024. Among the stalls there, Seah Family Braised Duck Rice was one that I needed to try. The stall not only sells duck rice, but duck noodles and kway chap as well! Occasionally I prefer duck rice over chicken rice because it’s less oily. In addition, I enjoy savouring the sweet and thick duck gravy that comes with the rice.
The duck rice($5) was covered in a luscious layer of duck gravy and there was a generous portion of meat. The rice was soft, moist and blended well with the duck gravy. In addition, the duck meat was tender and savoury when eaten together with the duck gravy.It was a very satisfying plate of duck rice which I’d highly recommend!
